Marrakech is a city bursting with life. Everywhere you turn there are so many sights, sounds, and smells! After doing a little Pinterest research (this is one of my biggest trip planning tools, believe it or not!), I decided that I had to stay in riad, which is a traditional Moroccan house with an open center with an open garden or courtyard in the center. I was lucky enough to find Equity Point Marrakech, a hostel situated right in the medina with the beautiful architecture I was dying to see!
From the moment we walked into the hostel, we were blown away by how beautiful it was! Every space was unique and inviting and had the traditional feel. Not to mention there is a pool right in the center!
Because of the abundance of common spaces, many of the guests spent a lot of time at the hostel, making it really easy to make friends! Between the pool, the lounge areas, and the rooftop terrace – you were bound to run into other travelers just hanging out. One of my favorite parts about my stay here was getting to watch the sunset from the rooftop every evening. There was something so magical about being above the chaotic medina below and hearing nothing but the birds flying by as the sun glowed over the old town.
